1/25 snappers « Result #4 on Nov 8, 2009, 6:52am »
Alright. I am in my second year of doing a model for tots idea of mine. I know the economy litterally sucks this year! I unfortunately do not have enough to give to the kids I was working with this year through the community. I need a couple more kits. I am looking for cool 1/25 scale snap kits new or like new condition. I am unemployed, so I can not afford much. So if you have something cheap, or better yet, a couple cheap let me know please! I have one month to finish off Santas list. Thanks. Jody
My nerves are really ruining me « Result #7 on Nov 7, 2009, 2:48pm »
I was trying, and that's the key word, trying to work on my dang Christmas project and it ended up broken in pieces, soi if anybody wants to help me out, I( need some mpore models built for me. Customs, hot rods, street rods, etc. You probably saw this in another post, these are some of what I have that I would like built, and for each car built for me, you will get a car to keep. I need someone to build the 2010 Challenger as it is on the box, I am not sure what color orange it is, but I want it painted that color. I can supply pics of the 1:1 car if you would like?

Alright I have some more junk up for grabs. Some I did not get rid of last time. Some is new stuff that I decided I dont want after getting it and some are more old projects I have given up on. The pictures should pretty much describe them. The first one is a 1/20 chuck wagon that I have scratch built a z'd frame and dual engine set up. The two chevy's, I have glass for one, cant remember wich one. Everything else is as shown. Looking to trade for new/like new kits basically cars from the 60's, old style slicks and pie crusts as well as steelies and older style roll bars or valuable flat green paper. LOL. Thanks. Jody

Posting pics from Fotki « Result #12 on Oct 23, 2009, 7:48am »
Once you have the "new thread" box open, there are 2 lines of boxes. On the 2nd row of boxes, the 4th box over is the image box [img]. Click on it, and the 2 [img] bars shows up on the topic. Have your fotki open, chose the pic you want, and click on it once. The pic will come up by itself on a seperate fotki page. Right click the image, and a list of options come up in a box. At the bottom of that box, left click "properties". Another box will show up that has the info on the pic. Right click the pic link, then it will come up with the option to "select all". Left click "select all", and the pic link will be highlighted. Next, right click the highlighted link, and the option to "copy" comes up in a small box. Left click "copy", and left click the closeout button on the box. Now go to your topic, and in the center of the "img" bars, right click, and an option box comes up. Left click the "paste" and your pic is now on the topic page. As a suggestion, when you have the info typed out on the topic, hit enter 2 times to get the pic below the description/info of the topic. If you are going to type some more info after the pic, hit enter 2 times after the pic, and repeat as necessary. This will keep a clean looking topic. I hope this is helpful.

Cheap Paintbrush Holder « Result #13 on Oct 23, 2009, 7:21am »
A toothbrush holder.... . You can find these from .10 to 1.00, either at yard sales, or at a discount store. It helps to keep your brushes from lying around, and getting the bristles messed up. It also makes it easier to select a brush you want. I keep the sizes that are close to each other, in one hole. I found this to be easier than having them in an open container. I hope you find this helpful.

Posting pics useing photobucket « Result #17 on Oct 19, 2009, 2:56am »
Hello everyone. I know not everyone is a computer Geek. And for those of us that are not like myself, it can get frustrating and confusing trying to figure things out.! I have a photobucket account, so I can describe how to properly post a picture on your threads. For Fotki help, hopefully we will have someone soon who is a member of that site and can post a thread describing how to post a pic using them. Now for Photo Bucket Users, first log in to your account.LOL. Find the picture/pictures that you wish to post. You will see under the photo, a section where you can copy and past links to your picture like this
Email & IM Direct Link HTML Code IMG Code
You will need to go to the bottom one, IMG Code. You will need to left click on this(it will then say copied). I always go further as it does not alway work that way and right click on it. You will then get a pop up window. Scroll down to "copy" and left click. Now go to the thread and left click the area you wish to post your picture. You will then need to right click and you will get a pop up window with the option to "paste". Choose this option. Walla. Your picture should now be posted in your thread!I do hope this helps.Thank you.Jody

Using photos for avatars « Result #18 on Oct 19, 2009, 2:54am »
Hello. This is a tutorial to explain how to use a photo in photobucket for your avatar. First, you must naturally find a photo that you like and upload it to your photo bucket account. Now make sure that photo is some place where you will not move itas it will create a nast looking avatar once moved.LOL. Once you have done this, you will need to open one broswer window for you photo bucket account and make sure you are in the album that your photo of choice is on. Next, open a browser window set to kustomcarz (where else would you want to be??) In the blue n white bar across the top with Home,Help,Search,Members,Calender,Admin(for me LOL) Profile, logout and Chat. You will need to click onto the profile tab. This will bring up your members bio page. Near the top of the body of the page, you will see Members bio, modify profile, and bookmarks. You will need to click on the modify profile link. This will bring you to the account information page. You will need to scroll down to the second section labled personale information. The sixth line down you will have to make sure that the AVATAR is set to "none"! Then the next line down, you will find the avater URL. This is when you will need to toggle to your photobucket browser window. Under your picture of choice, you will see four lines. Email and IM Direct LInk HTML code and IMG code. You will want to move your mouse over the direct link and left click to select, then right click, then select copy. Now toggle back to kustom carz browser window(thank goodness we are back as we dont want to miss anything now!! LOL) and left click in the AVATAR URL section, then right click and choose paste. Below that, it will automatically resize your photo to avatar size. If you choose to resize it you can below in the avatar height and width sections, but it can and will mishapen your photo. However below that you may choose to type in a personal text wich will show up below the avatar. I have not, but below that I have chosen to add a signature. This will also show up on all of your postings. Here is where I added links for the kustomcarz email group. You may add whatever you desire. I hope this helps. Thanks for the suggestion Ian. Jody

Yes there was a dodge Dakota pro truck. Small block mopar, red white and blue and had S&M on the side. I saw the thing but can't find the pic, was durring Ronnie's cancer treatment period do didn't appear all that often. Yep there was a t-bird, it had a nasty crash and Ronnie was hurt badly. Sox never drove much after the crash. Talked to here and he told me was the he ever been hurt while racing. There should be pictures of the t-bird out there.

Re: 2 NASCAR Combo kits « Result #28 on Sept 17, 2009, 10:01pm »
I would think that would be fair. AK was from MY home town. He graduated from high school with my former sister-in-law, and we rubbed fenders more than a couple of times in the mid to late '70's at the old Hales Corners (WI) Speedway. He was sponsored by a radio station, and I was sponsored by a used car lot. Alex

I am selling two Combo kits very cheap, or will do a trade, the Alan Kulwicki and Ken Schrader combo 1987 Thunderbird combo $15.00 each, or 2 for $25.00 or trade 3 models. Does this sound fair?
I need some help « Result #40 on Sept 4, 2009, 7:31am »
I was just over at Slixx decals looking at Pro Stock decals, and well one of my all time favorite drag race teams was Sox and Martin, and my goal for however long it takes is to build or have built for me, when I get to where I can't build anymore at all. Is to have ALL the cars that S&M ran, well I was looking at the decals and saw taht they ran what was called a pro truck, has anybody here seen this Pro Truck they ran? And if so do you know or do you have any pics of it? I have some pics of the Arrow they ran (not sure where I am going to find aa model of it, and didn't Ronnie run a T-Bird one year? Any background on Sox and Martin will be muchly appreciated. I m reliving my past in plastic.
